So as many of you are out bright and early looking for those local yard sale bargains, we are headed to Tractor Supply for the monthly poultry and livestock swap. Yep, right in the parking lot under tents and in the trunks of cars, pickup beds, back of vans, and even trailers. You can find just about any type of poultry that suits your fancy, and lets not forget the goats, rabbits, and ferrets. It is really quite fun, the anticipation of what might be there. The kids and I were hoping to find a couple of silky chickens and guineas. We walked away with two Americanas, two guineas, two turkeys, and fluffy top, "I don't know what it is", chick. Kevin says we have an addiction problem :) We are in denial!!

After the TSC, we headed to a the Clark Family Farm just up the road for some fresh produce. Today, they had fresh, vine ripe tomatoes, carrots, green beans, and potatoes. The kids are really into fresh hash browns :) And of course we had to get a fresh bouquet of flowers. The sunflowers and zinnias are just beautiful!!!!!
